It was the shower head!

I reluctantly gave Micah a bath this morning. After his scream fest the first night I wasn't really sure how it would go. Most of the bathtubs in Ukraine have a shower hose on them, so I used that the first night. This morning I just drew an old fashioned bath with bubbles. He was very nervous, so we just did one step at a time until he was calm. Finally I got him seated and he relaxed! I gave him a washcloth and he was all about it after that. It was like night and day... until I washed his hair and scrubbed behind his ears. I really wonder if this sweet boy has ever had a real bath. Then I calmed him down again and he played and played and played until he was wrinkled. He got so mad at me when I took him out. I've heard his sad whine, his painful cry, his scared cry, and now his mad cry. It didn't take him long to calm down with lots of hugs and kisses though.

























I would say he's adjusting quite well and he can't wait for his next bath!
