Our little Chloe is growing up. She's 3 1/2 and has a late birthday (December 11), so the poor kid has to wait for EVERYTHING. The opposite of her older sister, Chloe is the type of girl who wants to "do everything exciting and new, and it should've happened yesterday", so waiting for school has been hard on her. When I did home-preschool with Gracie and Chloe from December-May, Chloe was the one who was always most excited. "Can we do school today?" or "When can we do school?" And if I answered "It's a weekend." or "It's summer!" She would get so bummed out.
So today has been a long time coming for this anxious one.
She was so happy! She went in without a worry, said, "Bye, Mom!" as I left, and had a great time. I think Tuesdays and Thursdays will be her most favorite days of the week in August! In September, her days will change to Mondays and Wednesdays as they start the new year's program.
In the picture, she's showing off her planet and star artwork on the black paper, and a little shadow dog on the blue paper. She is so proud :) Her teacher, Miss Jessica, is very nice too!
